Welcome to a chakra sadhana course at the beautiful retreat centre Dharma Mountain in Hedalen, two hours north of Oslo with Swami Karma Karuna Saraswati.
Embark on a 9 day journey through the chakras, the subtle energy centres within your body, which influence every aspect of you life from your daily experiances to the spiritual realm. They are a framework to understand your physical health and challenges, energy level, mental well-being, emotional states and more subtle layers of existence.
The flow or block within your chakras determine many aspects of your life.
During this 9 day transformational retreat, enjoy yogic techniques such as asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, yoga nidra, meditation, yantra, mantra, fire ceremony and kirtan practice to transform, stimulate and clense the subtle energy centres
Each day will be devoted to a different chakra, exploring traditional symbology, the glands and physical components of each chakra, phycology of the chakras and more. Learn about how the chakras influence your relationship with yourself and others. Gain tools to improve your health, awaken creative abilities, enhance your strengs and overcome challenges.
Midsummer
At the summer solstice (sommersolverv), June 21st, we will celebrate with a ritual and special fire ceremony. Since ancient times this day has been marked in many different ways and we will join in and celebrate the light.
Teacher:
Swami Karma Karuna Saraswati is an engaging, intuitive yoga and meditation teacher, inspirational speaker, writer and IAYT certified Yoga Therapist with more than 25 years of experience. She has been trained in the Bihar Yoga (Satyananda Yoga) traditional system and visits India to spend time with her spiritual guides yearly.
Swami Karma Karuna is a co-founder and director of Anahata Yoga Retreat, New Zealand, a Residential yoga retreat offering and integral yogic lifestyle. https://www.anahata-retreat.org.nz/

Location
Dharma Mountain is a retreat centre in Hedalen in Valdres, two hours north of Oslo. It was built up as a place for people to reconnect with their inner peace, to find their true potential as a human beeing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. How to get there by car
From Oslo follow E16 towards Hønefoss and continue on E16 towards Fagernes. At Nes i Ådal, about one hour north of Hønesfoss, turn left, following the sign to Hedalen. Follow the road about 11 km and you will see the sign for Dharma Mountain.
How to get there by public transport
From Oslo you can travel by the bus `Valdressekspressen` to Nes i Ådal.
From Bergen you can travel by train to Hønefoss or Nesbyen.
From Oslo Airport Gardermoen make your way to Oslo by train or bus and from there take `Valdresekspressen`.

Price:
Food and lodging in shared accomodation is by itself 7600,- Norwegian kroner for the whole retreat. Single room has an addition of 2000,- kroner. If you stay in your own tent or campervan it is 6.000,- kroner, that includes use of showers and toilets. Price for yogateaching and other miscillanious is a total of 4300,- kroner.
